Honoring our Veterans

Veterans’ Day 2020

Veterans’ Day 2020

I wanted to take a moment on this day to thank the numerous Veterans who have served our country. Providing compassionate care to Veterans has always been important to me (I did my primary off-site internship at The Portland Veteran’s Acupuncture Project while in school), and I’m grateful to work with a medicine that helps so many of the conditions that Veterans face in a holistic way.

Among many other conditions, acupuncture and Chinese herbalism are effective therapies for musculoskeletal pain, low back pain, spinal injuries, and PTSD. I am especially interested in supporting mental-emotional health for my patients, and providing a healing space that allows time for the mind and body to heal and reconnect is something that I am honored to provide.

Because of all of this and more, I’m also pleased to announce that I have begun the process to get in network with Tivity/TriWest, in order to provide covered acupuncture care for Veterans. In the meantime, I am happy to offer a reduced rate for self-pay patients who have served. Please be in touch to inquire.
